Hi guys.

I'm thinking of buying this PSU...

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132563 (Corsair VX 550W)

However, in the specification at the bottom it says "Localisation: United States"...
What does this mean? Is it compatible for use in the UK?

Thanks.

The only thing that I can think of might be that the PSU is for the USA voltage spec of 115v and does not meet the European voltage specs, This refers to the wall socket current and not the output current. Another possibility is that the PSU is located in the USA and you would have increased shipping and VAT to pay, but this doesn't make sense to me as the address given is European. It might be best to contact the seller for explanation.

It says auto voltage of 90-254v, so it can handle any voltage no matter what country. Localisation probably refers to the manuals. they'll probably be in English only with no European translations (that part of the specs is more for the seller). You may get a US style plug though.
