Hey guys, I have a nice Dell SP2208WFP 22 inch monitor that I will use in my next system. I was wondering what your thoughts on the best graphics card setup should be for this resolution. Money is not an issue, merely cost effectiveness. I am looking for a setup that will kill most games and perform pretty well on Crysis, as well as be future-proof. Right now I was thinking two 8800 GTS's or one 9800 GTX (possibly even two if I really take the future-proofing seriously).

The single GTS Dagger posted for $170 is a solid choice; unbeatable for the money.
But Money no issue, two 8800GTS 512MB's gets my vote. It will do exactly what you asked...kill most games at that res with aa/af cranked, perform very well at crysis even with 2xaa/16xaf and high details (one GTS won't do this), and be more future proof. I run 16x10 with dual 8800GT and couldn't be happier.
8800GTS 512M SLI if you use high resolution (1680x1050 or higher) to maintain the FPS in 3D games if your new system is mainly for 3D games. If budget is no doubt that go with 3 way SLI with 9800GTX that you will still happy for games until end of Year 2009 but hugh money for me.
