Nice overclock

So i just wanted to ask if this is a nice overclock specs: EVGA 9400GT 512MB DDR2 16 Stream Processors 128bit PCIe 2.0 Stock Clocks:550 Core clock, Shader clock 1375, Memory clock 400. OverClocked: 800 Core clock, Shader clock 2000, Memory clock 420. is this good or what? its my first OC. My comp spec: Manufacturer: FOXCONN
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Hard Drive: 160 GB

I am assuming that you just OCd the video card. I'm not familiar with the OC ability of the card, but if you went from:
550/1375/400
to
800/2000/420, that is pretty good.

Sorry if this sounds dumb, have you actually benchmarked it or ran it in 3d mode? Because those specs will probably make it fail. Do a bench of 3dmark or something at stock, and then with your overclock. If it quits in the middle of the test, you are pushing the card too far.

You could probably raise the memory speed more, if it actually runs in 3d as you've set it.
 
Yes, that is a good OC on the GPU. Although, if you are not watercooling the GPU, then you are drastically shortening the life of that card with such an aggressive OC. That is going to heat up the core on your GPU pretty good. You should probably expect artifacts and lines a LOT sooner than normal.
