This upcoming summer I'm looking to build my very first computer. It is going to be on the New core i7 platform.
The parts I'm looking at are:

Antec 900 case'
Intel core i7 920 @ 2.6(looking to overclock to 3.2 - 3.6)
Corsair Dominator DDR3 3GB (3 x 1Gb) 1600
Asus P6T Deluxe MOBO
EVGA GeForce 9800 GT maybe higher
seagate 7200 RPM 500GB HDD
Samsung DVD-RW drive
WIndows Vista 64 bit

I am looking to Overclock to maybe 3.2 - 3.6 on air cooling, or at least what can i get with the Intel Heatsink/Fan(looking to upgrade after). This rig is meant to be about $1,100 - $1,300. Im just wondering what kind of power supply im going to need if i overclock that high.

I'm not going to give any links to products, because this summer will no doubt have different prices/hardware. Those are good companies to consider when looking for a power supply. I would go with 600 watts and higher, so the power supply doesn't have to work too hard.

Good power supplies aren't cheap, but you should never cheap out on the power.

Corsair is very nice, I have the 1000w HX and its a beast. I know corsair has good support and I think every psu has 5 year warranty.

I agree with sportsfan, 600w for that build, but 800w if you want to future proof for later GPU changes. If I were you I wouldn't plan this far ahead, a $1,600 build now will cost way less in the summer, especially if it's a core i7 build

thanks he that will help out a bunch, especially since I'm planning on overclocking this. And will a 650 be ok even with a gtx 960 core 216?
