Stop:0X0000007B on install Asus

All new system Asus MB core i7 4 gig ram
with sata drive
all hardware is up in the bios and recognized
I get the Stop:0X0000007B on install of XP pro service pack 2
Any Ideas?

XP might need specific drivers for the SATA on your board. Try again and this time, very soon after the install process starts, you'll see a message about SATA drivers - press Function 6 immediately. A little later on when it asks for the driver, just press Enter. That makes it look a little harder for a driver but if it fails again, you will need to pop them on to a floppy disk - yep, 21st Century technology rules down in M$ land :D  - and install them when prompted.

I actually solved it. Thanks for the reply. It was another bios setting I missed on first power up. all works great with Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit installed. Cheers !!!
