Hey I was thinking about building a new system mine is over 5 years old. If I do built I want the best system I can get. This is what I was looking at. I am normally an AMD guy but was thinking Intel this time. Open to suggestions

Right now build cost is around 5K.

Wow, extreme ... :)

Get 4GB RAM instead of 2GB. You're spending a lot of money for the latest peripherals, so spend a little bit more and get 2x2GB RAM. 2GB nowadays is just on the edge, it's still adequate but soon we will need more ..

I knew I forgot something there would be 2 of those ram
Also I know I need a heatsink I just don't know which one I would get. I really wanna stick with AMD but can't find a board I really like. Maybe I should wait for AMD to get it back together

May want to consider the WD 6400 AAKS 640 GB HD. Other than the new Raptor, is considered one of the all around fastest drives available. It is getting some serious press.
