So i built a system that i can game casually with. Now i know my video card sucks (8500GT) but i see everyone with 10k+ benchmark scores. I know benchmarking doesnt mean much but i thought i would give it a shot to see where i stood with numbers!
 
System:
E8400 @ 3Ghz stock
GA-P35-DS3L
2Gb Crucial Ballistix PC6400 800mhz
artic cpu cooler
seagate barracuda 320gb 16mb cache
1 HP Dvd rom/burner

You don't need to see benchmarks to realize 8500 sucks, you can feel it, running any game from the past 5 years. :p

 

Get a g92 8800gts, with its fresh price cut:

Also consider getting more than 2gb of ram.

Well like you said i already knew the 8500GT sucked before i did the benchmarks. I just did them to see how everything added up. So i assume these numbers are normal
