Scenario. I am trying to run 2 instances of Everquest 2 on two 24" monitors. It is definitely not happening with my two 8800GT 256mb cards. Using dvi but the screens are slow or they freeze up altogether. Can I do well with anything short of the 8800gtx? Was thinking about two 8800GTS KO 512mb. Think I would notice a difference between that and what I'm using now?

YES!
Why did you buy the 256mb version of the 8800GT anyway?
Those cards just, doesn't make sense!

8800GT 256 is a good card but for resolutions lower than 1600x1200 like 1280x1024 or 1024x768
For resolutions like 1600x1200 or higher the extra memory will help alot

nah, save the money, then get two of the Rv770 chips when they come out, and Xfire them.

Exile- Kreia what are you Jedi or Sith?

Kreia- Does it matter? Of course it does; such titles allow us to rip the galaxy into two halves: light and dark, good and bad. Perhaps I am neither, and I hold both as what they really are: pieces to a puzzle.

Are you able to play both at 800x600 or another very low resolution? If not, your GT's might not be your only roadblock.
