i have 2*1G DDR2 800 ram running 667 because my old Intel 945 motherboard only supports up to DDR2 667. Is is ok to have ram underclocked or should i replaced them with DDR 2 667? Thanks!

No, ram won't run at the same speed of the cpu's FSB by default. i.e. If the FSB is 1066, the ram will be half that.

Just be glad that your pc isn't giving your problems.

Its not a problem, you could lower your ram timings in bios to give better performance though, Also you can upgrade your mobo then the ram can run at spec. Use cpu z, look under SPD tab and find the timings for 333mhz, These should be lower than 400mhz and will tell you what to put in the bios manually, U need to put the ram voltage manually to.

cheers

That is OK.
You should be worried only if it was the other way around.
Best way to handle a RAM is not to overclock it.
