HI, I called Intel today about their Intel DX38BT motherboard to ask a question I seem to get many differant answers about. Will a PCI-E x 1 card work in a PCI-E x 16 slot. Intel said yes but I got a feeling of uncertainty. So if it will fuction properly, will it with nothing held back, no issues! Thanks for you replies!

Yes it will. Handily, for PCI-E, its speed is directly proportional to the number of pins connected. Only works from smaller to bigger though (obviously)
