Cant format the 200 gig disk partition

why cant i format my disk?

no admin rights, part of the disk is your systemdisk, its your system partition, windows is playing dumb......

please give us some more information.
-do you want to just erase the one disk while you keep your current OS?
-do you want to keep the other partition?


there are ways to force it to format, but if your OS depends on something on that partition, the OS might get corrupt

thanks to this, anyway i got it fix already, the status of the disk says EXTENDED, everytime I delete a partition, it goes to the extended disk, so I tried to shrink the Extended disk, and then its ok, the only space that's missing is 20 gig
