i have a seagate barracuda 8mb cache and a 500gb 16mb cahe and they boath run at 7200rpm and have same logic board on them apart from the ddr module size difference. what speed and voltage does the ddr cache run at. any help would be great Thnx

Just to be clear: you're asking about the memory of your desktop, or of the hard disks themselves? If a case of the former, what are you specs?

woah am i understanding that you want to change the cache on a hdd (btw, its not DDR memory), best guess is to try and figure out the manufacturer of the cache memory then the exact model and google search the hell out of it
