When I move my mouse to the edge of the right side of the screen, it takes a second for it to come back on screen when I go back left. It's like it is moving an inch or two passed the end of my screen even though there's nothing there. Can anyone help?

Hmmm, i would has at a guess there is either a secondary (extended) monitor turned on. Or you have you current monitor set to the wrong screen resolution so the whole desktop is not displayed.

on normal conditions the mouse wont go completely of the screen, the last line of pixels (the black border) should remain visible.
Check the resolution settings and incase of a CRT use the monitors controls to adjust the image so it fits nicely on the screen.
