Looks good as is. Except 2gb ram is not enough. Get 4:

The case, motherboard, cpu and OS all are good choices.
If you are going for 4GB of RAM consider getting 2x2 Sticks (Corsair is a good brand) to have a future upgrade option.
Hard drives :
I recommend getting 1 WD6400AAKS or 2 x WD3200AAKS depending on price. The small 80GB and 160GB drives are old designs and should not be bought today unless you seriously need to save money.
The Rosewill PSU offers poor value. Try to get a Corsair VX 450W or 550W.
The Zalman cooler might also not be the best suited to cool a quad core cpu.

450 watts are low for your build, so is 33amps on 12v rail. You should get something with more juice.

@dagger
From the reviews I've read a Q6600, 8800GTS, 1HDD & 1ODD system never exceeds 330W of power consumption. A 450W PSU is also recommended for a stock Gigabyte 8800GTS (and I think they tested with a QX6700). The 450W might be a close match but unless he plans to overclock way higher than 3.0GHz I'd say 450W is going to be enough. A 550W Corsair might be a better choice for future upgrades (and I recommend it even if he won't upgrade at all) but it's 50% more expensive and that has to be considered.

Alternative (high performance) cooler :

450W isn't low for that build at all.... its quite comfortably sufficient....... Corsair 550VX is overkill if you don't have SLI.

As for the cooler, the Xigmatek HDT S1283 is the boss out there right now, get that instead of the Zalman

True but the TRUE "evaporated" from newegg this week. Besides that it costs about twice as much as the S1283 (not good for a $900 budget) and performs about the same.
