Hey guys,
Had a big storm last night and the power cut off. After 10mins it was back on with no worries. Seems now that my internet on mi Main Desktop computer does not work. I have a power board with safety so i doubt it got zapd. It cannot be the modem because im using the laptop right now and works fine so it must be the desktop computer. It says that The Internet cable is not plugged in which it is. i tryed another cable same problem so i doubt its the problem. So what ive come down to is either
The Ethernet Plug or component.
OR
Network card (if thats what its called)

ive looked around on google and apparantly its the network card is fried. just want to know what you guys think and let me know what it is. im not so all smart on computers hardware. I have just recently installed 3gb of ram and its overclocked but i dobut thats the problem. thanks guys
