I got a copy of cod 5 of my friends pc and it doesnt want to work

i got a copy of cod 5 waw from my friends pc but the single player is asking for a cd

do you mean the original gamedisc, or a copy of that original gamedisc?

-if you have an original gamedisc, then you have to put that gamedisc in your pc when you start it. (and maybe update it)

-if you have a copy(=illegal) : go buy the game in a shop and never ask this question on toms again.
