I'm excited! just ordered my new card. Wanted to thank everyone that posts on here, it helped me narrow down my choice alot. Decided to go with an XFX card over EVGA simply cause i know i'm not going to upgrade within 90 days and the XFX came with COD 4... Thanks again!
I have that card, well the 650 version but I OCed it to 750. ROCK SOLID. It has a good auto fan configuration and keeps the temps in check and doesn't get to loud. I really like it. That fact that it comes with COD4 would have sold me on it as well. Thats a $40-$50 game right there. I get a good 60FPS at 1680x1050 with vsync on and everything cranked. Looks just AWESOME!. I Hope the rest of your system compliments.
It makes things blow up better!

I tell you one other thing that makes that game even better is a decent sound card. I tell you what, there are countless times that I have tracked people down or saved my own butt because I could hear them rustling around. I noticed this right after I installed my sound card. BIG DIFFERENCE.

I still have not tried multiplayer. All my multiplayer time goes into TF2.
Testing COD single player on my bench rig, I noticed I had trouble tracking the helicopter and guys shooting me with dinky $5 2-piece speaker system and an X-fi card. On my gaming rig with an X-fi fatality and 5.1 speakers it is much easier.

I have the X-fi Xtremegamer card and a $25 logitech headset. I also have a set of $50 Altec Lansing speakers form a few years ago. 2.1 speakers. Nothing fancy but even with those I could hear such a difference and heard things I didn't before. Actually I got this card when I was playing BF2142, but when I first starting playing COD4 it was on a buddies rig that had the same headphones I do but onboard audio.

I find it Interesting that integrated took away part of the directional benefit of the headphones.
I really have not gamed on integrated in a while. I have 3 systems with X-fi's in them (one a junkier xtreme audio though) , and one with a Aud 2 ZS gamer.
It was almost like certain items were missing with the integrated sound that I can now hear with the X-Fi card. Even with cheap headphones or speakers it make a world of a difference. I don't think I'd settle for less now. I think I paid $80 for the sound card.
