Dell xps 720 boots only in safe mode...any ideas?

Hello,
I have a dell xps 720 that out of the blue the other day would not boot up.I can go in safe mode and do anything i want,but of i try a regular boot it gets to the windows xp screen like it is loading then all the sudden freezes up....Any ideas.I would be thankfull for any help one can give

Hold down F8 during start up. There could be recovery options such as system repair or system restore.
Other than that, look in this forum, fourth post from the top, for the directions on a repair install.
The repair does not erase the files, and does not reformat the drive.
After you have repaired XP as above, back up all your personal files, in case of future problems.
