This plasma is due out in October.

Has anyone seen it at a show or exhibition? I'd be interested in your
opinion. TIA.

I've not, but be carefull. Many plasma sets suffer huge arching (often
visible on the screen) when the power supply is turned off. Perhaps
when you do get to check it out (or any Plasma TV), try to verify the
power on/off test as well, keeping note of what you hear and see on the
screen when the power is turned off.
