Hi guys i just posted about how to go about overclocking a AMD 9950 B.E. and i overclocked it to 3.1ghz, with a multiplier of 15.5 and changed the V Core to 1.280 and Core Temp. version 0.99.3 says its idling at 39C, and Speed Fan version 4.37 says its idling at 37C. Now when i run a Small FFTs Test in Prime 95 the temperature of the CPU just keeps rising and never finds a stable temperature, i stopped it once it got to 65C because i thought that was to hot. Anyone know why my CPU idles at 39C and increases almost 30C with 100% load on Prime 95?

yeah that's why you run prime to make sure not only that you're stable, but that your cooling can handle the voltage/multiplier. You'll need an after-market heatsink (sunbeam core-contact freezer, or the like). To run at your current settings.
