Hey folks.

Final build here. Think this is pretty solid but wanted opinions once more before I order. Not really into OCing. One thing I would ask is..should I go with SLI mobo for future expansion or just wait a couple years and then build an SLI system then? Also should I go Vista or XP? Anyways here is the system:

Looks good to me. Only thing I would change is the PSU as 750W is major overkill for a single-GPU system. Grab the 610W PC P&C and you're set.

I wouldn't worry about a 64-bit OS. You'll only lose 512MB of your RAM, and won't have to worry about compatibility issues. There may not be many, but none is better than few.

I would also go with the 8800GTS 512. Great card, and you'll save a chunk of change. Also, go with the 610W PSU. More than enough for a single GPU system. If you don't plan on OC'ing, stick with the stock cooler. No need for an aftermarket.

:non:

Go with 64 bit and have no regrets later. I have had no compatibility issues. If you do, a quick google usually leads to a fix.

Why spend 1000$+ on a computer and then use a 32 bit OS?

Also one note that I forgot, that samsung dvd drive has an ESSENTIAL firmware upgrade (if you copy dvds).

The drive is riplocked by default and will only copy css protected dvds at a maximum of 6x. CodeKing has found and removed this protection. You can find the firmware update at club.cdfreaks.com

I just built something very Similar, Just ordered it.
Looks pretty Solid to me.. I was toying with the idea of the 9800gx2, but its just not worth that much more money over an 8800gts, Maybe in a year or two I'll update it instead of spending that much for so little upgrade.
