Hello,

Recently I have bought a new harddrive and installed it in my Toshiba Satellite and now when I start my computer up the error:

BOOTMGR.EXE is missing press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to restart windows

Appears. I read I was suppose to use the recovery disk that came with your laptop in case something like this happened. So when I pressed F12 and loaded the disk from a CD/DVR it took me to the Toshiba System Recovery/System Recovery screen. I selected System recovery in an attempt to re-install Windows but when I get to the System Recovery Options area where it tells me to select an operating system, there is no system....

I tried looking for the driver in the drivers cd that came with the laptop but I don't know where to find it or what I am even looking for...Help please ;____;

You put in a new hard drive. There will be no Operating System on the new drive. Furthermore, there is no recovery partition on the new drive. In short, there is nothing there to recover.
