I have Windows XP SP2, a 160GB Western Digital and a 200GB Seagate.

The Seagate is split intro 3 partitions (G, H, I).
After doing nothing (clicking OK on Display Properties) the PC started going insane. A couple of time later I saw the problem: H and I were not accessible. The labels aren't showing, Windows prompts me to format them.

I tried going in Ubuntu and nothing improved. I could see I's label but not access it.
I have some really important data on H which I can't afford to loose.

How can I recover it? Can PartitionMagic(never used it) help?

Thanks in advance

Ok, first back up everything on G. Try using a disk recovery app like TestDisk on H and I repsectively. Partition Magic may repair your partitions, bur may delete your data in the process.
