Thanks for the info..I set the following in P5K Bios

AI Overclocker tuner: Manual
CPU ratio setting: 9
FSB Frequency: 400
FSB Strap to Northbridge: 400
PCIE Frequency: 100
Dram Frequency: DDR2-800

When boot up I see CPU at 3.61Ghz...but in Windows CPU-Z show Multiplier as x 6.0 (sometime change to x 9.0 but switch back to x 6.0), bus speed 400.x Mhz, Rate FSB 1601.x Mhx, Core speed is 2402.x Mhz...Any idea???

I uninstall AI Suite but still same.
Thanks!

since i do not use the mobo i can only base it on the p5k wifi or deluxe i use

safe is not an issue - the max board is table is 400-425 more then that the nb gets hot

set your voltage to 1.4875 check the voltage in bios hardware are it should show around 1.45 - check it later with orthos it will drop

you want 1.44-1.46v under full load

oc the cpu first check the temp

then set the memroy
you want ddr800 or 400fsb
or 1066 for 425+fsb

after you set your memory voltage - manually tune your latencys

leave the nb on auto see what it voltgate it is in hardware at auto if you can not find it play around 1.55v give or take

research the other settings in the voltage area like fsb, pll etc

fsb should be locked it you have it

lock the pcie at 100

check to see if have voltage dampner if so lock it, you voltage will be higher with the dampner at the correct setting of disable or enable
