dell laptop keyboard conversion to ps2 interface

ok so i bought a brand new dell replacement keyboard for 1$ at a yard sale (not sure of the exact model number since i dont have it with me right now) but it looks something like this

i want to convert it to ps2 interface so i can use it with my desktop pc, somehow i need to wire it to a ps2 keyboard controller and then use some software to remap all the keys

has anyone ever tried something like this? i have only been able to find one resource online talking about a mod like this (http://www.grynx.com/projects/converted-laptop-keyboard/) and i would like to have a little more information, thanks!
