Ok, I have DSL intenet at my house going into a wireless router that works perfect. Its currently supplying internet to a desktop wired, 3 wireless notebooks, and 1 wireless computer. The wireless computer is outside in a shed, it only gets 1 bar and is limited to 11MBPS, so i dig a huge trench to my shed streching a CAT5E Ethernet cable from my router to the shed so i can supply wireless internet our there for LAN parties and such. I made the patch cable and i have a tester that says its working perfect. When i hooked in the wireless AP it went though its thing and then i tried connecting to it, no luck, so i reset my router and the AP, then it adapted my wireless password settings but i couldn't connect to it, said the password was wrong, so i tried connecting to the normal router, couldn't, nothing would work, i unattached the AP and took the password off the router, then the router worked fine. I checked the cable again, says its right, i cut off the ends and re crimped them, tested, and says its good. (i did it wrong on purpose to test the tester and it found the error) Does anyone see an error here, i tried the disk, it doesn't tell me much. Attached is a picture i drew in paint to help describe the layout.

I contacted Linksys before puchasing the AP and they said it will work with other brand routers if its used as an AP

Please help me figure out this problem before i go nuts!
