Hi,

i have a wierd line at the top of the screen:

it seems to be the outline of the vista explorer, i previously had vista installed, i deleted it then installed XP and the outline stays there all the time.

funnyly enough when i print screen it doesnt show up on the print screen :S

can anybody help with this issue :(

I'm assuming that you have a CRT. If that's the case then it could be a phosphorous burn in effect. I bet it will fade a little bit, but it's probably time to get a new monitor :/

Dude, ive got the same thing on my acer LCD @ work.
FKN THING!!!

Its basically like image persistence or something. If u dont use ur lcd for a few days it should go away, only to come right back :(

All u can do is put up with it or try a warranty claim.

It is persistence if onLCD. You can run a free program for 12 hours to fix it or you can leave the screen on a solid color for 12 hours.

its a TFT, its just come up after iv re-installed xp so i dobut some sort of screen burn is the issue :S.

whats the name of that program
