straight answer no!get the xigmatech or the TRUE if you got deep pocket and want the ultimate OC possible on air.

Only if you want worse cooling of the components near the CPU (the 9500, TRUE, and similar coolers don't provide the downdraft that your 7000, or the Intel cooler, does).

^^ i agree completely. either a xigmatek or a TRUE would give you the best air cooling solution

xigmatek: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835233003

i bought a zalman 9700 because it looks cool :D even though i know it can't cool as well as the xigmatek/TRUE, but it had blue led and a cool spiral looking HS. :)

No. If you have a case with any airflow at all you'd be better off getting a contemporary cooler like the Xigmatek S-1283 or the Zerotherm Nirvana NV120.

There's absolutely no benefit or reason to pay more $$ for the Zalman cooler when just about everything else beats them handily. I'm thinking . o O (and hoping) that Zalman must be getting ready to release something new...something that can really cool a quadcore. ...something with H.D.T maybe.

I'm on a budget i have 45 euros and I can't find all those fans in local shops around here. And when I do they are waaaaaaaayy over priced.for example I found the 9500 for 59 euros in one shop and for 45 in another had to look for weeks to find It.
I found a Scythe ninja plus Rev.B, ASUS silent square, Scythe Mugen, OCZ Vendetta in some local shops with some resonable prices but still expesive.
So i need to chose between thes and the zalman if they will inproove performace by about -5*C.
I have a no brand case with no case fans but i will buy soon 2 120mm fans.

You tell me what I do.
