I have one. It's my 2nd HD set and looks almost as good as my direct view
30". The stand might be nice - but IMHO not worth $200. I built mine for $35
at Lowes. It even has wheels - unlike the Sony stand.

I just bought the above mentioned TV and stand, and I love it. I bought the
set for $1100,
and they sold me the stand for $89 (SU46WT11). I can't imagine paying $200
for it, but some web sites I visited are selling it for that. I guess I got
a good deal!

Thanks for the feedback.
Circuitcity.com is now advertising this set for 999.99...sounds like a great
deal.

I argued with the salesman there and they wouldn't throw it in on the deal.
But, Circuit city has them for $149.00 on line.
But, here is how I built my own and it looks grate!
3 pieces of 4x 4 lumber, 9" each Had laying around
1 sheet of plywood 1/2". Had laying around
1 piece of 2x2 molding stock, clear. Had laying around
3 swivel casters from Harbor Frieght: $12
Get the specs/demensions from sony in their:
Sony KP-46WT520 46 Hi-Scan 1080i HD-Ready Manual.pdf
Look on the last pages; the dimensions are there and they fit exactly.
I cut the plywood into two exact triangle pieces with indentations to fit the
4x4 support pieces.
One on top, one on bottom. Screw/nail them down, countersink.
Run a piece of wood 2x2 or so, across the front, under the top platform and
attaching to behind the two front 4/x4 supports.
Paint silver and there you go!
What I did was download all the pics I could find of the stand, and just drew
one up on paper with the specs from the sony manual and it looks fantastic.
About 2 hours work plus pride plus not giving into the greedy bastards.
Also, the tv is pretty high by itself and you might not need a stand. Or,
you can put it on any short sturdy coffee table.

Btw...I got mine on sale for 999 plus 24 mo financing.

Top rated RPTV!
It's a great deal and if they had offered the stand for $89 I would have
bought it. But they wouldn't budge from the $149, list $200.
I guess the 24 mo free financing meant their profit margin was nill. He was
willing to let me walk out of the deal becuase of the stand also, so I
figured I was getting the best possible price.
