Does my motherboard compatible with ATI HD4850?

Before I am going to buy HD4850 I would like to confirm that my MB is compatible with it.

It is Gigabyte GA-M61PM-S2

Your MB has one PCI Express x16 slot, so yes, it's compatible.

The HD4850 will work with a PCI Express x16 slot. But, depending on the game you're playing, you will need the extra bandwidth of PCI-Express x16 2.0. Of course, we're talking games like Crysis and Flight Simulator X, not WoW or TF2.

Now you need to look your power supply .You need about 400w -450w I think
