My Kingston DT100 died a month ago because I accidentaly stepped on it.. Needless to say, it broke. So I'm now on the look for a fast, and not so fragile, 8gb or 16gb usb stick.

I reside in Europe and it therefore has to be available here. I hate caps and would prefer to avoid them as I'm bound to lose them. I need something that doesn't break that easily as I'm not very careful, but it also has to be fast. I've been looking at Rally2 but it costs ~35 euro (incl. shipping) which is a bit too much for me.

I'm hoping you can help me as most webshops fail to provide the read/write speeds and durability.

SanDisk Cruzer Titanium drives have a metal case and no cap. Are about the speed of the DT, maybe a little slower but that is comparing a 4gig TI to a 16gig DT.
