DDR2 800 Crucial Balistix, issues any1?

I recently built a new system with a GIGABYTE GA-EP35C-DS3R and 2x gigs of crucial balistix ddr2 800.

Things ran good for about 3 weeks and then i started to get BSOD's, i have narrowed it down too 1 bad stick of memory.


Has any1 else had issues with this kind of memory with the gigabyte boards p35 chipset?

Any1 reccommend a different type of memory, or should i stick with a replacement pair of crucial?

Clear cmos, load defaults in bios, up vdimm to 2.1v, google memtest, write it to disk, boot it up to test each stick separately for 5 passes, then together for another 5 passes.

It seems from what I've been reading in reviews, Crucial's quality has really dropped, just look at the latest reviews on newegg, they are all about people saying they failed after a couple of months.

The crucial quality has dropped, Ive had to RMA to sets of 2GB ballistix due to a duff stick. 3rd time lucky now.

I used to be their biggest fan, but they have got down the crapper IMHO.
What is your batch number?
