I have no option in windows xp with power schemes

If control panel/power, does nothing then consider reinstalling,[right over existing,won't hurt a bit]there might be a corruption somewhere, might work might not.. 

Thanks dokk2 for tryomh to help! I actually found answer here on toms hardware! Worked like a charm! Only to find my computer was still shutting down! I discovered I had 2 problems. I checked and sure enough my fan wasnt working it got unplugged somehow! I plugged it back in all is well!

Hello, My power options are grayed out. It happened after I deleted a power scheme to change it. Now it just reads unknown
