Quick BIOS options question

what is HT frequency, and the values for it are 200-1000 with 200mhz intervals, but what is the significance to this and what role will it play in overclocking a cpu

PCI spread spectrum, what is this, bios says it reduces EMi, so i leave it enabled but will it effect an OC?

oh, and when i clear the cmos the HT frequency goes to 200 but i change it to auto because when got the board it was on auto and when i tell it to do default settings it goes to auto. hm, the board is a ECS GF8200A and the CPU being oced is a AMD 5000 2.6. not the greatest setup for OCing but i dint plan on doing it.

edit, i think i posted this in the wrong forum- so to make it relevent, if i change my CPU frewuency to anything higher than 220 and my multiplier is locked at 13. what would i do with my HT frequency. (voltage would be at 1.32v on the CPU) i have not made any changes for the RAM timings as the RAM is kingston RAM so should i just leave that at auto

Hopefully it should fit to youre mobo+cpu perfect (but the install mounting part is a son of a gun!)

Anyways depending on you're cpu you dont want to gop 70^ , 85 max is even to much for long periods make sure you set the mobo speaker alarm to go off @ 60 to 70 depending on youre make/model.
