I am having a Pentium4 duo core EMT64 processor with DG33FB mother board and 2X2Gb of RAM. My OS is XP X64. my system is working fine normally but when i start from off state key board and mouse hangs when i press any key from keyboard(before pressing keys its working fine). this problem solves when i restart my computer. so when ever i switch on my computer i first restart then starts working. i dont know the reason... could any one explain why this happens r solutions for this problem....

or does he mean the new Pentium dual core like E2160 and such.

i think its a pure OS problem.thats why i just leave it on completely or shut it down completely.

Enable USB keyboard and mouse in the bios.

on a laptop i experience the same problem after come from Hibenation.

Cordless Keyboard/Mouse? Checked batteries?

Uninstall KB software, Reboot, Reinstall software.

Anand_82 also could try another keyboard and mouse.to see if that corrects problem.
