I am not sure which card to get.

$209 after MIR but i get an extra $35 off because its a 'combo' deal
- 35 = $174

- 20 MIR = $165


I am not sure which one has better performance really. I do know EVGA has great warranty and customer service. I have never delt with Gigabyte.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Get the GTS. It is more powerful. I suggest looking up some benchmarks to see it for yourself.

The 8800gts 512 will be substantially quicker even with the factory OC on the 9600.

I dont know much about gigabyte either, but thats the one would get at those prices.

Depends what you really want to spend. If money doesn't matter, get the GTS, but if you'd rather save money, get the GT. The GTS is quite a bit faster though.

First off, factory OCed cards are pointless.

Second, the gts completely destroys the 9600gt.
