DIY Build posting but not booting

Hi Anyone able to help

Second DIY build not booting. First DIY build A Okay

Number 2 has Giga EX38-DS4, E8200 CPU, 500w ps and 800Mhz DDR2.

E8200 does not work on Number 1 build (giga P35-DQ6, E6750 CPU, 500w ps and 667Mhz DDR2 ram) and the E6750 will not work on the DS4.

Could it be that both E8200 and DS4 are duds or am I missing something obvious.

What BIOS version are you running on the DS4?

Can't give you much info there. Its a revision 1.1, straight out of the box, have not yet seen the CMOS screen.

Well the E8200 may not work in the P35 without being on the latest BIOS, BUT... the E6750 should work on the X38 board fine. It might not be the processor though, could be a number of things.

Both the E6700 and E8200 need F2 to work properly on the X38.
