Help. May have a virus.

Hi,

I think I may have a virus of some kind. My computer is running really slow. I've tried opening my virus programs but they won't open. My Ad-aware program icon still shows up on my toolbar but I can't even close it. I wanted to uninstall and reinstall my Ad-aware virus program from control panel I received an error saying,"Setup resource decompression failure." I tried installing the latest version of AVG and received an error that stopped me from installing it. I also receive an error saying Virtual Memory too low. If anybody has any suggestions or knows how to fix the problem it would be greatly appreciated.

It may not be a virus, when was the last time you rebooted your PC? How much RAM do you have in it?
