Hello everyone,

I have wanted to do this for years, just never would take the plunge. Looking at system costs last week pushed me over the edge. This system will be for gaming mostly. From what I have learned reading the forums here I will be OC and believe the components listed will provide ample opportunity. I will not be running dual graphics cards. This being my first build I do not want to attempt water cooling, I have enough to learn as it is. Take a look and let me know what you think I should change. Any links to "beginner" information would be great. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

It's good as is. The 8gb ram will give you little advantage over 4gb, as typical tasks don't use nearly that much. But since ddr2 800 is so dirt cheap, might as well go for it. Happy building.

You must have really done your research. There's nothing i would change, other then maybe the PSU. But that's only because i've never researched that brand:)

GL with your first build.
