How do I delete corrupted files on my sd card?

I took the SD card out of my camera and put tried to upload the pics to my computer because my camera died. I wanted to see if it had space on it because I'm traveling tomorrow, but it has a corrupted folder and it's taking up more than 90% of the card's capacity, so I need to get rid of it and I don't particularly care about recovering it. Anyone know how?

Have you just tried deleting the file? Are you getting some kind of error?

I've met those kind of folder before on a SD card. They're undeletable.

You just need to format it (wipe the card clean). I assume you know how to do this in Windows.
