Need advice WD RE3 RAID 10

Hey everyone, I am trying to decide what hard drives to get for my RAID 10.
I am trying to decide between the

Western Digital RE3 WD7502ABYS 750GB 7200 RPM

or

Western Digital RE3 WD5002ABYS-01B1B0 500GB 7200 RPM SATA

My main concern is that the 750GB drives have 32mb cache vs the 16mb cache the 500GB drives have.
Will it make much of a difference?

The performance difference in the cache sizes will be minimal at best with most workloads. It should certainly be irrelevant compared to the performance benefit that you get with RAID 0+1.

I too, am wondering why software RAID would make a difference to the drive size you'd choose...
