Removing motherboard drivers for new build

You didn't state what OS you are using....But...
It's a better idea to simply reinstall the OS once you have the new motherboard installed, it may also be quicker than uninstalling drivers and then watching the OS have a heart attack when it finds out there's a new motherboard.
Just make sure you back up everything that's important first.

If you don't have your original XP Disk it my pay to make a backup image of you current install before you start changing things.

You can use acronis universal restore if you plan to transfer your OS to the new mobo. That way it will avoid a kernel heartattack so to speak.

ya i'm goign to do an acronis backup to my external but i ended up just adding a rush order next day shipping 320gb western digital hard drive so ill figure it out

ya i changed my mind and bought a Western Digital 320gb drive and and Vista Ultimate 64 bit and changed my motherboard to the DFI Lanparty p35 so i am little excited since i also got the 4850 and e7200
