Hello,
i am about ready to scream{{!!!!}}
is the reboot loop a virus{{????}}
and how do ya fix it. all by it self on and off ect. i have to take the battery out and unplug to shut off. lol

No, you're just having a bad day.

Next time you turn it on, poke the F8 key once every second until a B&W screen shows up. One of the choices will be to stop the computer from automatically restarting on error. Use your cursor keys and select that and push the enter key. The choice will then come up to start Windows XP, go for it.

Windows is not going to start.

It's going to stop with a screen that includes a lot of white lettering and numbers on a blue background. There will be a message that says "STOP (cryptic message) 0x00000000,00000000,0000000" (etc..).

(Your message will have the zero's as a mix of zero's and numbers).

Come back with the entire stop message and numbers

i got it... i had let the battery go dead and this is what causes the boot reloop.
just start the conputor as always and {{the hardest part}} do nothing...
just let it sit may take an hour or two and it will boot the right way.
