It should be able to fit, might be a tight squeeze with the extra fan in the front.

It probably won't fit with the HDD cage fan installed but without it it should fit fine, otherwise I better start looking into a new case.

I don't know how the 4850 compares to a 8800 gts, but the sonata iii can hold a gts, even with the optional front fan installed

Get the 4870, the 4850 which is single slot will heat your case up very quickly. The Sonata III does not have sufficient exhaust capacity for a high powered single slot GFX card.

It fits even with the optional front fan installed, but very tightly. I have it installed in my set-up. You may need to force the PCI-E power cables just a little bit, but it definitely works. I also installed an accelero with another 120mm fan strapped to it.

The GTX280 and 260 seem to be a little long, so you may not be able to install the front fan.

On a side note, my HD4850 is running at 35 degrees idle with the accelero and my rear exhaust fan is on its lowest setting right now.

Air flow shouldn't be a problem with the front fan installed.
