nah keeping em for a spare plus let me add i dont game on pcs i have a ps3.so i dont care about video capabilities .i care most about video and audio editing and i like power consumption to be low

performance+low power=impossible.you had to sacrafice one or the other.but these days when idle pretty much every CPU out there consume very little.

right now the e8400 wolfdale is the cpu i like the most now just need a cheap mobo.i could probaly even live with onboard video

well you have low fsb so get a high multipler chip

q6600 will blow you away!

the e8400 will give a lower speed due to the lower multipler on the stock fsb

get the q6600

Since its audio and video editing your looking at, i suggest a quad processor since almost all major video editiing applications take advantage of multi-core. Get a Q6600(~220$) and mobo you may decide youself based on your budget.
