i am looking for either update my system and go with a pci board and up my processor to a 3.0 duel. or get an AGP radeon 3850 card. i'm not sure if that card will boost my gaming by atleast 40% better, or would it be better to get a new system with a 9800 nvidia and upgrade to three gigs of ram. i am willing to pay for either. Im just not sure on how much of an impact the new card will make.

Well that will depend totally on what you are running now.
Give us a list of your specs and include the power supply Make and nodel or just the Amps/Watts on the +12V rail and we will be able to give you an answer.
