Well I just bought an Asus Nvidia 9600 GT video card but which come with the software "smart doctor". So I installed smart doctor and the other softwares that were coming with the card via a CD. One of these software is Gamer OSD, a quite useful program for gamers but I think the CD installed the XP version along with the vista version. When I try to uninstall the XP version they say that this software is made for XP OS. This problem caused some issue to smart doctor I think because I can't see the status of the voltage and some games seems to be strangely lacking in quality (shadows not smooth, hdr seems not to be working although I am not certain). OH and there's always a small window opening on the right upper corner of my screen when I play games ,it takes a lot of ressource and it is writted Splendid in it (which is another program linked to smart doctor to make the games and movies look better) but it is disabled, to close it I have to go in process in the task manager and end the process "ATK Fast User Switching". If you could help me I would be really grateful. Thanks.

That "Gamer OSD" has caused me problems every time I've install it, but I'm running Windows 2003... (SUPREME security, stability and performance, I don't care what others think of it, my computer runs for months at top performance without any reboot.)

It seems the gOSD doesn't like anything else than XP... Would help to know for sure what OS you are on. You do run Vista? Unless you REALLY need to see voltage and whatever on your 9600GT just try uninstalling every fragment of any gOSD, and if you can't uninstall a component, it might be because another app is using it, for instance the overclocking tool...
Try this if you run into problems getting rid of gOSD:
1. Try turning every app off, if you can't, temporarily uninstall them and then attempt uninstalling gOSD.
2. If 1st solution was unsuccessful; re-install gOSD, reboot, then immediately uninstall gOSD.
3. Should neither work, come back here and let another genius figure it out :)
