Hi This is Mohammad,
pls tell me if any one knows why seagate HDD makes noise for me only. I was having 160Gb HDD. One day it got burnt that is on 11/7/09. So i send it to service centre and they replaced it. Now currently i am having New HDD provided by them. NOw this HDD is making some noise during booting, searching of file and many times when i am doing some heavy work on HDD. its makes noise like " trrr trr trr trrrrrrrrrrrrr" like this its making noise. pls tel me if any one knows why its doing like that.

Errr... I think that, unfortunately, you're replacement hard disk is failing. At best, your replacement HDD is refurbished (read second-hand) unit, which could also explain the noisier operation. I trust you back up your data regularly?
