Yeah, that's a great point. I will be storing a lot of stuff on this thing and I understand in addition to the extra cache they have an extra spindle motor or whatnot and a 5 year warranty.
Has Seagate cleared up the problems they were having? Maybe the 7200.11 series?
I have a 320 Gb 7200.10 barracuda that I am extremely underwhelmed with. By far the slowest part of my system. I almost think my WD 500Gb green drive would be better!
