Overkill PSU for a single graphics card build. Corsair VX 550W / TX 650W would better fit this system.

If you don't plan to overclock (no aftermarket CPU Cooler) and you don't care about SLI/CF why spend so much on a motherboard? Any P35 board would fit.

X38 is the best current Intel chipset, Abit was great long ago.
They've lost their focus but they are trying to make good products.
ASUS P5E/Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS4 would be better picks.

If you don't want SLI avoid NVIDIA chipsets like the plague until they resolve data corruption issues.

Consider a WD6400AAKS (new platters, higher performance) $110 harddrive instead of the Seagate 500GB.

You didn't state RAM so 4GB (2x2GB modules) DDR2 800MHz (Corsair, Geil, Kingston, Mushkin,...)

For cheap temporary graphics also consider an 8800GTS from ECS (newegg.com - $170).

CPU, VGA, Case, Monitor are good.

No SLI no Crossfire?
Both of those Mbs are overkill.
Go for a P35 Mb and save your self some cash.
Many of the p35s also have manufacture support for FSB400 with nearly the same feature set.

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce today would cost $100, get a million miles to the gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.
